A room feels designed not because of any one piece, but because everything agrees. That agreement is a palette, and it can be planned.
01Three, not thirty
Choose two or three materials and two or three tones, and repeat them through the room. Coherence reads as luxury; variety reads as a showroom.
02Neutral is not beige
A restrained palette has range — warm and cool greys, greens that read as neutral, the depth of a real black. Quiet doesn't mean flat.

03One note of contrast
Every calm room can carry a single point of tension: a dark object in a light room, a warm one in a cool scheme. Restraint makes the exception land.
