A mirror is the cheapest way to double a room and the most misused object in the home. Placed with intent, it does real work.
01Reflect something worth seeing
A mirror repeats whatever faces it. Aim it at a window, a considered corner, a piece of art — not at a doorway or a clutter of coats. It shows the room its best angle.
02Scale and presence
A single large mirror reads as architecture; a scatter of small ones reads as decoration. In a small room, go big and go quiet.
